Ask what the film name means
Dyed, carbon, ceramic, and nano-ceramic are terms you may hear while comparing films. Ask which specific lines are available and request the manufacturer’s specifications for the product being quoted. A category name does not tell you every performance characteristic.
Consider the SUV’s existing glass
Many SUVs have different glass treatments in different positions. Existing privacy glass, aftermarket film, and large window areas should be reviewed in person. Discuss the whole vehicle rather than picking a front-window shade from a photograph.
Choose with the warranty in view
The shop’s tint coverage can be five years or lifetime depending on the selected film. Request the written terms for that exact product, including exclusions, care requirements, and how a claim is handled. Keep the film information with your receipt.
